Carlos Ferreira da Silva Seeger is an engineer with academic degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical/Electronic Engineering, as well as a specialization in Systems Analysis. Since the beginning of his professional career, he has directed his studies toward technology, automation, intelligent systems, and human behavior in the face of technological evolution.
Registered with CREA-SP, he has participated in different branches of the professional engineering system in Brazil, including activities within specialized technical chambers and initiatives focused on the technical and ethical advancement of the engineering profession. He has also worked in academia as an instructor of Programming Logic in technology-related courses.
Throughout his career, he has published articles on robotics, automation, and mechatronics, critically following the evolution of intelligent systems, androids, and emerging technologies. His vision has always been associated with the idea that technology should exist as an instrument to expand human capabilities — not as a replacement for human essence.
He is the author of the work Humans versus Androids, published in both Portuguese and English, and the creator of the Factor Silva (FS), a philosophical-comparative method developed to analyze the degree of approximation between human characteristics and android systems.
Originally conceived as a comparative evaluation method for androids, the model also began to attract interest as a tool for personal reflection, human identity, and self-knowledge.
From this conceptual evolution emerged the HxA project — an ecosystem dedicated to analyzing the relationships between humanity, artificial intelligence, consciousness, emotion, ethics, and technological responsibility. Currently, he works as an entrepreneur in the fields of engineering, technology, and management systems, maintaining as his central purpose the investigation of the limits and possibilities of technological evolution without losing sight of the essential value of the human being.
