NILTON CARDOSO LOPES

a) Mini Biography

Nilton Cardoso Lopes is a general construction assistant, a civil construction worker, well known in the work environment for his friendliness, exemplary physical stamina, and collaborative spirit. Born and raised in a simple context, he learned early to value effort, solidarity, and humor as everyday life tools. Always helpful, curious, and spontaneous, he captivates those around him not only through the work he performs, but through his honest, direct, and deeply human way of communicating. At construction sites, he is recognized as someone who “holds the line” — always present where work demands strength, agility, and discipline. At the same time, he carries a rare form of humility: he is the first to joke about himself, admit his limitations, and value the qualities that truly matter in human coexistence.

b) Interview Testimony The interview with Nilton Cardoso Lopes arose in an unexpected way — as so many good stories within the Factor Silva project do. During a technical visit to a construction site, I was approached by him with a casual yet personality filled question: “Doctor, I heard you’re writing a book about little robots… is that true?” From that moment, a fun, lighthearted, and surprisingly profound dialogue began. Nilton demonstrated spontaneity and humor capable of disarming any formality. I explained that the book proposed measuring the human level of beings — including androids — by creating a comparison standard. Curious, attentive, and full of examples from his own world, he quickly responded: “Wow, Doctor, that’s tough… I’ve seen all kinds of robots! We even have one here on the site…” — referring to the multiphase power outlet rack that workers commonly call a “robot.” The conversation flowed naturally. Nilton asked genuine, intelligent, and direct questions: • “What are robots that look like people like?” • “What are they for?” • “How can you compare them if they’re so different?” Between laughter, robotics concepts, everyday analogies, and good natured teasing, we reached a moment when he confidently volunteered: “You can count on me, Doctor. I’m a perfect human. I’m your benchmark! Use and abuse it… haha.” We closed the first part of the conversation — and made a deal: “Let’s schedule an interview. I’ll buy you a beer.” “Deal.” Before we left, I did a quick warm up question: — Nilton, what’s 17 × 5? — “Now you’re asking too much, Doctor… I need a calculator!” I explained that the Factor Silva does not allow the use of machines. He laughed, admitted he had skipped school during high school, and concluded: “Alright… maybe I’m not perfect. But I’m almost!” Hours later, at a snack bar, the full interview revealed a magnificent human being. I discovered in him: • a strong and dedicated worker, • someone driven by collaboration, • a man with a good heart, • sensitivity to simple and profound values, • sincerity in virtues and also in flaws, • and a living example of the beauty of ordinary humanity — as valuable as any genius. His physical disposition earned him an extremely high Physical Coefficient (PC). His behavior and feelings, consistently aligned with virtue, revealed a strong Sentimental Coefficient (SC). His spirituality, even if modest, showed humanity. His intellect, although informal, presented clarity of reasoning, imagination, and practical logic of great value. At the end, he asked me: “So, Doctor… did I pass the test?” I replied: “Nilton, you passed with distinction. And it’s worth remembering: this wasn’t a test. To pass, all it takes is being human. And that you are — abundantly.” The interview, conducted in 2002, left a strong impression that Nilton would continue to evolve. And he did: he took better care of his health, abandoned certain habits, gained emotional and spiritual awareness. Like so many humans, his FS increased over time.

c) Official Factor Silva (FS) Table The evaluated coefficients are as follows: Coefficient Value Obtained Percentage PC – Physical Coefficient 0.2470 98.8% SC – Sentimental Coefficient 0.2155 86.2% EC – Spiritual Coefficient 0.2002 80.1% IC – Intellectual Coefficient 0.2017 80.7% FS – Factor Silva (Sum) 0.8644 — (Calculation aligned with the official method: FS = PC + IC + SC + EC, according to the document “Guidelines for Calculating the Factor Silva”.) d) Interpretation within the Factor Silva Framework The FS of Nilton Cardoso Lopes (0.8644) places him squarely within the typical human range (0.840 to 0.940) described in the official Factor Silva methodology, demonstrating balance across all four dimensions. 🔵 1. Physical strength and stamina (PC 0.2470) Nilton presents one of the highest possible physical scores. His demanding routine, constant energy, and work performance demonstrate: • above average endurance • great mobility • agility • consistent strength • natural vitality This is a body trained by real life, not by gyms. 🟠 2. Feelings and behavior (SC 0.2155) Nilton is guided by virtue: • generosity in interaction • unfiltered honesty • natural friendliness • low tendency toward lying or vanity • healthy joy and simplicity He admits impatience and minor domestic temper, but nothing that compromises the overall balance. 🟣 3. Practical and creative intellect (IC 0.2017) Even with limited formal education, he demonstrates: • good imagination and creativity • strong practical logic • functional everyday memory • clear dialog capacity • spatial understanding related to his trade • simple, objective language His intellectual honesty outweighs academic formality. ⚪ 4. Moderate and sincere spirituality (EC 0.2002) He acknowledges limited faith, some material attachment, and does not consider himself “spiritualized.” But he: • dreams • feels • reflects • distinguishes right from wrong • believes in good And that already qualifies as a strong human spiritual score.

⭐ Synthesis Nilton is a faithful portrait of real humanity: strong, imperfect, humorous, collaborative, honest, spontaneous, and full of goodwill. His high FS reflects a beautiful, simple, and authentic humanity.
